Cologne/Kaiserslautern. This evening the director of the Opel Kaiserslautern plant, Anja Kleyboldt, will accept the Rising Stars Award in Cologne. The prize is bestowed by the international trade magazine Automotive News Europe. The award winners in 2011 are 28 upper and mid-level managers from the European automobile and supplier industry who showed outstanding performance and the potential for top jobs in the field. The award winners are designers, developers, human resources and purchasing experts, production managers, finance and marketing managers as well as the heads of national sales organizations in the automotive industry.
Harald Hamprecht, editor-in-chief of Automotive News Europe, said that the Rising Stars Award 2011 is a truly European prize, „with talents from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK – as well as from the U.S., South Africa and India who work for European companies”.
