Marco Molinari Resigns as Head of Finance of Adam Opel GmbH

Rüsselsheim.  Marco Molinari (45), Chief Financial Officer of Adam Opel GmbH has elected to leave Opel to pursue other interests effective December 1. A successor will be announced in due course.

Molinari has led the Opel finance group since 2005. Molinari, who began with the company in 1995, has held several leadership positions within General Motors and Opel, including assignments in New York, Argentina, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Mexico, serving in eight countries on three continents.

Opel Managing Director Hans Demant said: “During a very difficult period, Marco Molinari has done a great job for our company and has proven his financial expertise. He was instrumental in providing Opel a new chance due to the bridge loan that we received this year. I want to thank Marco personally for his hard work and wish him all the best for his further career.”
