Statement on press reported numbers of personnel reductions at Opel

Rüsselsheim. Opel denies press agency reports today regarding the numbers involved in job reductions. The company emphasizes that the numbers are incorrect and far too exaggerated. Nick Reilly, CEO of Opel/Vauxhall will discuss today the plan for the future of the company with representatives of the European Employees Forum. The basis of these talks remains the plan which has been previously discussed with employee representatives.
