IAA – Opel friends meet in Frankfurt

Rüsselsheim.  Countless Opel fans from throughout Germany gathered near the pedestrian zone in Frankfurt, many driving their historic cars, to set the mood just days before the official opening of the IAA -- International Motor Show. The high point of the program, moderated by radio hr3, was a peek at the new Astra, which debuts this week at the Opel Stand in Hall 8. The motto of Monday’s event was also the brand’s new slogan: Opel. Wir leben Autos.

Opel Friends meet in Frankfurt: Countless fans and friends of Opel celebrate in downtown Frankfurt. where radio hr3 built a stage. Opel Supervisory Board Chair Carl-Peter Forster and Sales and Marketing chief Alain Visser (right) gather with prominent stars to help city residents get in the mood for the International Motor Show IAA, which starts this week. But the real headline-grabbers was the newest Opel, the next generation Astra, which this week officially premieres at the Opel Stand in Hall 8. The motto of Monday?s event was also the brand?s new slogan: Opel. Wir leben Autos. Opel. We live cars.
